Underground 35 is a collective/alliance of musicians with a base camp in Minneapolis MN, attempting to establish base camps up and down Interstate 35
(U-35). Now that some of the first alliances are being formed ( click photo’s to visit their web sites) we are evolving and continuing to define the mission. Those who participate/support our mission will have the opportunity to express themselves in the DVD that is being produced to document (with a tongue in cheek sense of humor) our reach into the heartland.
When completed some of these DVD’s will be given out free in the clubs/venues that have supported U-35. The DVD is a living entity, and bands, supporters, artists, and even coverage on the venues will be included as we report the continuing story of our evolution/revolution.
This site will soon provide us with a portal for the rebels & misfits of various underground counter culture scenes (music, art , film, etc....) to find each other and link together. ( of course you could always just use myspace)
We are not the only collective using this medium, and by far our message is not focused on any one agenda. This is just where it begins for us and maybe we will at the very least break a little ground, and make it easier for future collectives to reach Minnesota. We are staking claim to the highway now renamed Underground 35, and we need your support and participation.
